DO'S:

4. Keep communication with your spouse civil and respectful, especially if you have children.
5. Focus on finding solutions that are fair and in the best interests of all parties involved.

DONT'S

1. Don't hide assets or engage in financial fraud.
2. Don't make unilateral decisions without discussing them with your spouse or attorney.
3. Don't engage in angry outbursts, abuse or harassment towards your spouse or their attorney.
4. Don't try to negotiate or make important decisions when you are emotionally charged.
5. Don't speak negatively about your spouse to your children, friends or in public.
6. Don't post on social media about your case.
